III.Fishery Education and Research Institutes

There are nine research and academic involved involving in the fishery research work. They include the Academia Sinica, the fishery Research Institute of the Council of Agriculture, the Development Center for Biotechnology,the National Taiwan Ocean University, Institute of Oceanography, National Taiwan University, etc. as shown in the following list. Furthermore, there are a number of fishery vocational schools in Suao, Tainan, Keelung, Tungkang, and Penghu.
