1.To collect and compare legislations of Taiwan with Japan, the European Union, the United States and China regarding the use of veterinary pharmaceuticals to treat aquaculture animals.
2.The status of aquaculture medicine in prevention and cure of fish disease, status of usage of aquaculture drug in Taiwan were surveyd, and also the problems in basic theory, market criterion and safe application of fishery drug were discussed.
3.Currently available and authorised fish medicines are tabulated. The extensive suggestions were put forward in regulation of the management and usage in Taiwan, including extra-lable use and low regulatory priority aquaculture drugs.
4.We also try to screening of antimicrobial peptides with antimicrobial effect as an alternative to antibiotics. |
