In this study, we simulated the survivorship of E. punctifer during the period from 10 d to 30 d, and thus estimated average survivor rates monthly. The results exhibited that the survival rates in months of 2003 were March 1.15%, April 5.44% &May 1.26% for spring season, and September 1.52% &October for autumn. Those for 2004 were March 1.32%, April 0.93% &May 2.93% for spring, and September 2.78% &October 1.96% for autumn. Often time the survival rate was quit low (less than 5%), and the rate upped a bit only when the fishing was coming to a seasonal end. Judging from current situation, the fishing practices have brought the resource into an over-exploited condition. Cut down the number of license is appealing measure to manage the resource in a reasonable standard that should benefit a healthy ecosystem. |
